The Apprenticeship
Apprentice Electrician (Certificate 3 in Electrotechnology Electrician)

Employed by Statewide Apprenticeships and hosted to Pernod Ricard Winemakers at Rowland Flat.

Undertaking a four year apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be trained to perform a range of tasks on all types of electrical systems, including the following:

• Planning the layout of electrical systems 
• Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams, drawings and specifications 
• Installing electrical systems 
• Performing maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment 
• Conducting fault finding, testing, repair and maintenance work on electrical equipment 
• Connecting electrical equipment and appliances
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings
• Maintain good housekeeping

The successful applicant will have

• Current driver’s licence and transport
• Effective verbal and written communication skills 
• An organised approach with attention to detail 
• The flexibility to adapt to change  
• A basic understanding of the role of an apprentice, with a positive manner and approach to the position 

The position will commence in February 2024.

Shift work and weekends may be involved.
