Statewide Group Training (SA) Incorporated is an independent, community-based not for profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, business and industry for over 30 years.

The Traineeship

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education Care in Yankalilla.

This is a 12 month traineeship and we are seeking applicants that are passionate about working with young children and are able to work in a team environment.

Early school leavers are highly encouraged to apply as the position would best be suited to someone just starting in their working career.

You will also be required to work between 32 and 40 hours a week. The successful candidate will complete Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) while gaining skills and experience on the job.

About you

• Passionate about working with young children and able to work in a team environment.
• Is enthusiastic and energetic
• Good communication skills 
• Flexible to work rostered hours Monday to Friday ranging between 6.30am – 7.00pm.
• Committed to study and ability to manage time to meet due dates.
• Current National Police Check – must provide prior to commencement.
• Current DHS Working With Children Check – must provide prior to commencement.
• Current First Aid Certificate is an advantage or able to get prior to commencement.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Committed, punctual and reliable at all times.
