Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based not for profit organisation that

has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and

trainees, business and industry for over 30 years.

The Traineeship
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education Care.
We are offering a part-time traineeship for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and thrive in a team environment. Trainees will follow a two-week roster, working four days in the first week and then another four days on the floor during the second week, along with an additional four hours allocated for study. Multiple vacancies are available. The childcare centre operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The successful candidate will complete Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) while gaining skills and experience on the job.

About you

• Passionate about working with young children and able to work in a team environment.
• Is enthusiastic and energetic
• Good communication skills 
• Committed to study and ability to manage time to meet due dates.
• Current National Police Check – must be provided before commencement.
• Current DHS Working With Children Check – must be provided before commencement.
• A current first aid certificate is an advantage or ability to get before commencement.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Committed, punctual and reliable at all times.
• Local to the Yankalilla community
