Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, businesses, and industry for over 30 years.

The Traineeship
Certificate III in Concreting
Statewide Apprenticeships seek a trainee to join our team working in the Adelaide Metro and surrounding areas.

The position is a 2-year full-time traineeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include:

• Mix and pour concrete.
• Concrete workers must be experts in the composition of concrete.
• Spread concrete.
• Concrete workers need a good eye and strong attention to detail.
• Shape concrete with wood or plastic forms
• Not all jobs are perfect rectangles.
• Monitor the drying process.

About you:

• Have a genuine passion for the job.
• Be committed to undertaking a 24-month traineeship.
• Possess a driver’s licence.
• Must be willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing.
• Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
• Be physically fit.
• Be willing to obtain a white card before or during at your own expense if required.
