The Apprenticeship

Certificate 3 in Engineering – Fabrication (MEM 30305)

Statewide Group Training are seeking an apprentice Boiler Maker/Welder working on truck trays/trailers/tanks in Adelaide’s north.

The position is a full time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

We are looking for someone that has a desire and passion to work in the industry and has a understanding of what an apprenticeship in Boiler making is about. You will also need the right aptitude and have a strong desire to learn.


Duties may include –

  • Perform engineering measurements
  • Welding using multiple techniques
  • Cutting, grinding
  • Repair/replace/modify fabrications
  • Use of power tools and hand tools


About you –

  • Be committed to undertaking a 48 month apprenticeship
  • Possess a driver’s licence
  • Be physically fit
  • Willing to learn & work in an active & changing environment
  • Have a strong work ethic & takes pride in quality workmanship
