The Apprenticeship 

Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)

Statewide Apprenticeships is seeking an apprentice Carpenter to join our team. The role will be based in Gawler and will involve work in the country areas.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working at least 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Females and those of a mature age are strongly encouraged to apply.   

 

Duties may include 

  • Measuring, cutting and fixing timber
  • Installing skirting boards, doors, window frames.
  • Using a range of hand and power tools
  • Moving tools and timber products around the site

 

About you 

  • Out of Trade Carpentry Apprentices encouraged to apply
  • Have completed some form or work experience in Carpentry
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and a current driver’s licence
  • Must hold a White Card
  • Be physically fit
  • Be a good communicator
  • Have good time management skills
  • Committed to completing a 4-year Apprenticeship
  • Committed to doing the formal study required to complete the Apprenticeship
