The Apprenticeship

Certificate 3 in Cake and Pastry (FSB 30321)

Statewide Group Training are seeking a Cake and Pastry Apprentice to join our team working for a well established bakery in Malvern.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include –

• Preparation of Veg and Meat for pasty fillings
• Weighing dough ingredients and preparation of bread and bread products
• Making bakery products such as cakes, sweet and savoury pastries and breads
• Cleaning

About you 

• You must be physically fit and reliable
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
• Must be willing to work early mornings
• Must be passionate about baking and food preparation 
• Must have attention to detail
• Commitment to approx. 4 year apprenticeship
