The Apprenticeship 

Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology ( AUR 32120)

Statewide Group Training are seeking an apprentice Panel Beater to work in Kent Town area.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. They will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

We are looking for someone that has a desire and passion to work in the industry. Furthermore they will have a understanding of what the apprenticeship will require. Additionally the applicant will have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

Duties may include –

• Repair Damaged / Accident Vehicles
• Replace Panels and Components
• Inspect Vehicle Paint , Trim and accessories and recommended repair procedures
• Particularly remove Paint from Vehicle Painted surfaces.
• Overall cleaning of the shop.
• General storeroom maintenance.

About you –

• Be committed to understanding a 48 month apprenticeship.
• Additionally possess a driver’s licence.
• Be generally physically fit.
• Be willing to learn & work in an active & changing environment.
• Therefore have a strong work ethic.
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and willing to obtain a police check.
