The Apprenticeship 

Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology ( AUR 32120)

Statewide Apprenticeships seek an apprentice Panel Beater to work in Aldgate, SA.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. They will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include 

• Working on buses
• Repair damaged/accident vehicles
• Replace panels and components
• Inspect vehicle paint, trim and accessories and recommend repair procedures
• Remove paint from vehicle-painted surfaces
• Cleaning of the shop
• Storeroom maintenance

About you 

• Have a pre-apprenticeship course in automotive (highly regarded)
• Have a driver’s license (essential)
• Be a confident communicator.
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry.
• Be trustworthy and reliable.
• Be able to pass a Drug and alcohol screening.
• Be committed to the entire four years of the apprenticeship
