We recently had the pleasure of catching up with Charlotte, one of our talented painting apprentices, on-site with our long-standing host employer, P & C Heath Painters. Charlotte is currently completing her Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, gaining valuable on-the-job training while working alongside experienced professionals in the industry.
P & C Heath Painters have been incredible supporters of Statewide Apprenticeships, providing countless opportunities for young people to start and grow their careers in the skilled trades. Their commitment to mentoring and development plays a key role in strengthening the local workforce and building a pipeline of future professionals.
One of the best examples of this partnership in action is Oliver, who began his painting apprenticeship with Statewide in 2009. After completing his training and graduating in 2013, Oliver has remained with P & C ever since—building a solid and successful career in painting and decorating. His story is a powerful reminder of the long-term value and opportunity that apprenticeship pathways can create.
