Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, businesses, and industry for over 30 years. 

The Apprenticeship 

Certificate III in Painting and Decorating 

 Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking an apprentice Painter and decorator to join our team working throughout the Adelaide Metro.

The position is a full time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include 

• General House Painting as well as some Commercial work
• Working at heights. Scaffolding and Ladders

About you 

• Driver’s licence 
• Completed Working at Heights training
• White Card training
• Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime 
• Be physically fit 
• Prepared to under go a Drug & Alcohol screen 
• Strong communication skills 
• Reliable 
• Have completed Working at Heights (preferable)
• Have good time management skills.
• Committed to completing a 4-year Apprenticeship
• Committed to doing the formal study required to complete the Apprenticeship.
