The Traineeship

A fantastic opportunity exists for a self-motivated individual living in Quorn region to become a full time Hospitality Trainee with our valued Host Employer Flinders Gin. This is a full time 24 month traineeship and we are seeking an all-rounder to join the team and work at the Distillery.

Duties may include

• Customer & tourism engagement
• Preparation and serving of beverages
• Housekeeping

About you

• Keen interest to learn Certificate 3 in Hospitality (SIT30622) and ability to manage time to complete training within due dates.
• Have Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or ability to get prior to commencement.
• Strong communicator and willingness to engage in conversation with tourists.
• Current SAPOL Police Clearance, or willing to get prior to commencement.
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
• Hold a current Driver’s License and reliable transport.
• Ability to work in a team under instruction and use your own initiative when necessary.
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethic.
• Willing to work over a 7 day roster – majority of work is during day hours; option for RDO; single days & consecutive days off rostered where possible over month; some out of hours may be required.
