Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Trailer Technology

Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking an apprentice Trailer Mechanic to join a trucking company in Parafield Gardens.

The position is a full time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include –

• Working on dog trailers, B-double & other multi combination trailers along with single & multi axle trailers
• Service & repair brakes, suspension, pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Wiring lights
• Metal fabrication

About you –

• Be committed to undertaking a 48 month apprenticeship
• Possess a driver’s licence
• Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime
• Be physically fit
• Completed some training within the industry would be highly regarded (ie: auto or fabrication)
