Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based not for profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, business and industry for over 30 years.

The Apprenticeship
Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying.

Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking a reliable, hardworking 1^st Year Bricklaying Apprentice.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week.

You will be learning to:

• Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry.
• Use bricklaying and blocklaying tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Carry out measurements and calculations.
• Carry out basic demolition.
• Handle and prepare materials.
• Carry out brick construction.
• Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry.

About you

• Keen interest to learn trade with commitment to 4 year apprenticeship.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol screening.
• Current Driver’s License and reliable transport (essential – P’s acceptable).
• White Card (essential – or willing to get at your expense prior to commencement).
• Working Safely At Heights (essential, or willing to get at your expense prior to commencement).
