School-based apprentice Ava is taking her first steps into the electrical trade with the support and guidance of Bradley Family Electrical & Living Enhancements, a well-regarded local business known for its high standards and strong community roots.
Led by Sean Bradley, the business brings the experience and perspective of someone who understands the value of apprenticeship training from both sides. Sean completed his own electrical apprenticeship through Statewide Apprenticeships over 20 years ago – an experience that shaped his career and ultimately led to the establishment of his own company.
Today, Sean is passing that experience on by mentoring the next generation. As Ava gains practical skills on real worksites, she’s also learning the professionalism, safety standards, and problem-solving required to thrive in the industry – insights that simply can’t be taught in the classroom alone.
This partnership highlights the strength of the school-based apprenticeship model: combining structured learning with hands-on experience, and guided by employers who are deeply invested in their trade and their community.
At Statewide Apprenticeships, we are proud to work with host businesses like Bradley Family Electrical who are not only committed to growing their teams, but also to developing capable, confident young professionals who represent the future of the trades workforce.
This is what long-term workforce development looks like – built on real skills, real support, and real opportunities.
