The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated individual to join as a Carpentry Apprentice.

Based in Uraidla in the Adelaide Hills, this role offers the chance to work with a respected general builder while developing essential trade skills. Out-of-trade apprentices are encouraged to apply.

Are you ready to build your future in carpentry?

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Apprentice Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time apprenticeship of at least 38 hours per week, providing valuable practical experience while working toward your Certificate III in Carpentry.

 Whether you’re a recent school leaver, considering a career change, or looking to restart your apprenticeship, we encourage you to apply and embark on your journey to becoming a skilled tradesperson.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Measuring, cutting, and fixing timber and other construction materials

  • Safely and effectively operating various hand and power tools

  • Installing ceiling and wall linings with accuracy

  • Performing 1st fix carpentry tasks to industry standards

  • Assisting with diverse residential and general building projects

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid Driver’s Licence (essential)

  • Physically fit and capable of manual work

  • White Card

  • Dependable, diligent, and punctual

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

  • Willingness to work overtime when needed

  • Previous experience in carpentry or pathways into construction

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Commitment to completing the apprenticeship

  • Willingness to undertake and finish formal study requirements

  • Genuine desire to build a long-term career and grow within the company
