Statewide Apprenticeships, a proud not-for-profit organisation with over 30 years of supporting apprentices and trainees across South Australia, is on the lookout for passionate and skilled 2nd or 3rd-Year Diesel Mechanic Apprentices to join our team in Wingfield.

 

This is a full-time apprenticeship where you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience!

Key Duties Include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles, from oil changes to battery checks, lubrication, and replacing parts.
  • Following detailed inspection checklists and assessing systems like brakes, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and engines to ensure vehicles are safe and operating at their best.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2nd or 3rd-year apprenticeship in Diesel Mechanics.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and ready to take on a hands-on role.
  • A passion for motor vehicle repair and a natural mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be willing to undergo a drug and alcohol screen and obtain a police check.
  • Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport.
