Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, as well as businesses and industries, for over 30 years.

The Apprenticeship 

Certificate 3 in Electrical (UEE30820)

Statewide Apprenticeships is looking for an out-of-trade second, third, or fourth-year apprentice electrician to join our team and work in the western suburbs of Adelaide. Out-of-trade (OOT) refers to individuals who want to return to complete their apprenticeship.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. The position will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include

• Residential electrical work
• BMS and Automation experience 
• Learning from and assisting qualified tradesmen
• Installing wiring
• Using a range of hand and power tools

Skills required / desirable

• Experience with domestic or small construction
• Driver’s licence
• Be physically fit.
• Prepared to undergo a Drug & Alcohol screen.
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable
• Hard-working
• Have completed Working at Heights
• Have good time management skills.
• Committed to doing the formal study required to complete the apprenticeship.
