Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based not for profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, business and industry for over 30 years.

The Traineeship

A fantastic opportunity exists for a self-motivated individual living in Clare Valley Region to become a Hospitality Trainee and earn while you learn. This is a part time traineeship working a minimum 30 hours per week in Café.

Duties may include

• Customer service
• Food and beverage preparation
• Housekeeping

About you

• Energetic person with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a small team under instruction and use your own initiative.
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethic.
• Willingness to work a roster, span of hours between 9.00am and 6.00pm – weekend work essential and some out of hours work may occasionally be required for functions.
• Keen interest to learn Certificate 3 in Hospitality (SIT30622) and ability to manage time to complete training within due dates.
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
• Hold a current Driver’s License and reliable transport to get to work.
