The Traineeship

SGT are seeking applications from people interested in full time, part time or school-based positions. The successful candidate will complete Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care (CHC30121) while gaining skills and experience on the job.

People that live locally to the area are highly regarded and encourage to apply. If you have already completed Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care or Diploma qualification you are not eligible, please do not apply.

About you

• Passionate about working with young children and able to work in a team environment.
• Flexible to working rostered hours Monday to Friday ranging between 6.45am – 6.00pm (school-based Trainee hours will be negotiated with school).
• Committed to study and ability to manage time to meet due dates.
• Current National Police Check (essential) – must provide before commencement.
• Current DHS Working With Children Check (essential) – must provide before commencement.
• Current First Aid Certificate is an advantage or able to get prior to commencement.
• Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Committed, punctual and reliable at all times.
