The Apprenticeship
Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying.

Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking a reliable, hardworking 1st Year Bricklaying Apprentice, living in Kadina region to join our team and work with our valued Host Employer throughout the region.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and reasonable overtime may be required. Long term opportunities for the right candidate.

You will be learning to:

• Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry.
• Use bricklaying and blocklaying tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Carry out measurements and calculations.
• Carry out essential demolition.
• Handle and prepare materials.
• Carry out brick construction.
• Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry.

About you

• Keen interest in learning a trade with a commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol screening.
• Current Driver’s License and reliable transport (essential – P’s acceptable).
• White Card (essential – or willing to get at your expense prior to commencement).
• Working Safely At Heights (essential, or willing to get at your expense prior to commencement).
