Statewide Group Training (SA) Incorporated is an independent, community-based not for profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, business and industry for over 30 years.

The Apprenticeship 

Certificate 3 in Engineering – Fabrication MEM 30305.

Statewide Group Training are seeking an apprentice Boiler Maker to work in Royal Park area.

The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. They will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

We are looking for someone that has a desire and passion to work in the industry. Furthermore they will have a understanding of what the apprenticeship will require. Additionally the applicant will have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

Duties may include –

• Firstly performing engineering measurements.
• Specifically welding tasks using multiple techniques.
• Perform techniques such as cutting and grinding.
• Following duties of repair, replace & modify fabrications.
• Furthermore use power tools and hand tools in daily tasks.

About you –

• They will be committed to undertaking a 48 month apprenticeship.
• They will possess a driver’s licence.
• Be generally physically fit.
• Have a willingness to learn and work in an active, changing environment.
• Have a strong work ethic & takes pride in quality workmanship.
