Location: Barossa Valley, SA

Employed by Statewide Apprenticeships, hosted to Pernod Ricard Winemakers at Rowland Flat.

• Undertaking a four year apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be trained to use tools, machines, equipment and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment to operational standards. Parts may be repaired or manufactured using lathes, milling and drilling machines.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings
• Maintain good housekeeping

The position will contribute to Pernod Ricard Winemakers vision and mission, striving for continuous improvement, to achieve best practices, finding new and better ways, leaving our place better than we found it, and contributing to creating a place where you want to work.

The successful applicant will have:

• Current driver’s licence and transport
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• An organised approach with attention to detail
• The flexibility to adapt to change
• A basic understanding of the role of an Apprentice, with a positive manner and approach to the position
