The Traineeship

Certificate III in Concreting

Statewide Group Training are seeking a trainee to join our team working in the Riverland and surrounding areas.

The position is a 2 year full-time traineeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

Duties may include:

• Mix and pour concrete
• Concrete workers have to be experts in the composition of concrete
• Spread concrete
• Concrete workers need a good eye and strong attention to detail
• Shape concrete with wood or plastic forms
• Not all jobs are perfect rectangles
• Monitor the drying process

About you –

• Have a genuine passion for the job.
• Be committed to undertaking a 24-month traineeship.
• Possess a driver’s licence.
• Must be willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing.
• Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
• Be physically fit.
• Be willing to obtain a white card before or during at your own expense if required.
