The Apprenticeship  

Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30211)

Statewide Apprenticeships seeks an apprentice Carpenter to join our team, which is based in Kadina and working throughout the region. This position is re-advertised and seeking new applicants.

This is a full-time apprenticeship. The apprentice must work a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid according to the relevant award unless otherwise advised.

 

Duties may include 

1st & 2nd Fix building
Measuring, cutting and fixing timber
Erecting wall frames
Renovation & extension work
All areas of general building
Using a range of hand and power tools

 

About you 

Have completed some form of work experience, training or employment within the construction industry (desirable)
Possess a driver’s licence (P’s acceptable or will have in a few months)
Hold a White Card (or willing to get prior to commencement)
Be physically fit, as this is a labour-intensive job
Able to pass a drug & alcohol test
Be committed to undertaking a 48-month apprenticeship
